Sunshine and Sweet Peas in Nightingale Square

Today I am over the moon to be hosting the first stop for 'Sunshine and Sweet Peas in Nightingale Square' by 'Heidi Swain.'

Publication date 31st May 2018
About the book
Kate is on the run from her almost-divorced husband who is determined to have her back, and she has found the perfect place to hide... a little cottage on Nightingale Square in Norwich, far away from her old life in London. But the residents of Nightingale Square don't take no for an answer, and Kate soon finds herself pulled into a friendship with Lisa, her bossy but lovely new neighbour.

Within a matter of days Kate is landed with the job of campaigning the council to turn the green into a community garden, meanwhile all the residents of Nightingale Square are horrified to discover that the Victorian mansion house on the other side of the square has been bought by developers. But when all hope is lost, the arrival of a handsome stranger is sure to turn things around!

Heidi Swain is the perfect summer read - you'll want to find your own green space, stretch out in the sun and dive into life at Nightingale Square.

My Review
A lot of you will know I am a huge fan of Heidi Swain so I just can't begin to tell you how much I was delighted to hear about her latest release! Oh boy I was in for a treat! I believe this has got to be her best book yet!

From the moment we are introduced to Kate I instantly warmed to her, she needs to get away and make a fresh start away from her cheating husband David, somewhere he can't find her and Nightingale Square was just the right place for Kate to move to. I loved how the neighbours all welcomed her and how they got so close so quick you would think she had been living there years! Kate is a person you just really want things to work out for she deserves it she's been through a lot.

Hearing about the little houses in Nightingale Square and the mansion just made me want to go there, and I loved exploring them with Kate.

There are plenty of surprise's and unexpected events that happen in the book, you just don't see them coming, and a lot of drama it was so exciting. I just didn't know how the book would end but when I reached the ending I bawled my eyes out, it was emotional!

If you are looking for book to read in the garden this summer this is the one you need! Absolutely Perfect!

Ps. Do you know what I love with Heidi's books, the book covers, they just help you as a reader imagine the story and feel like your there.

Love will always find a way… won’t it?
My Review
Oh my goodness, I had no idea how incredibly emotional this book would be, honestly I had tears in my eyes most of the book!

I found myself completely absorbed in this story and I just couldn't stop reading it or put it down.

The book itself is exceptionally well written, the way there is past and present parts throughout makes it so easy to see what life was like before for Fran and Paul to what is currently happening for them now.

I just completely felt for Fran I just wanted to give her a huge cuddle and tell her everything was going to be ok.

A real true love story.

I will definitely be reading more from Laura Danks.

Spring at The Cosy Cottage Cafe

Publication date 9th April 2018
About the book
Artist Honey Blackwell is happy with her life. Well, almost. She lives in the picturesque village of Heatherlea, has three close friends and a soft spot for local supply teacher Dane Ackerman. If only she could put her past behind her and embrace the present.

Dane is working hard to prove himself at the village primary school and doesn’t really have time for love, but he’s drawn to Honey and hopes she feels the same. When a permanent teaching position is advertised in Heatherlea, he faces stiff competition to secure it.

As Honey and Dane deal with the ups and downs of life, will they be able to find a way to be together, or will they have to accept that sometimes love just isn’t enough?

This is the fourth short story in The Cosy Cottage Café series.

My Review
Receiving part four of this book just made my day as I just love this series so so much! There is just something about it that makes me smile. The characters are really lovely and I have grown so fond of them so I was delighted to hear that there is going to be another part...eek!

The main character of this is the part is Honey, I really enjoyed finding out more about her and seeing her get close to Dane, I just want them to be together they just seem so perfect for each other. As always the other characters play a huge part in this too and there is plenty of drama.

I can't wait to find out what is next for them all.

Everything about this book is just gorgeous! I absolutely loved every page and I just didn't want it to end! Once I picked this up I just read the whole book I was addicted!
The chemistry between Tori and Aiden was just sizzling hot and it was clear from their very first meeting that they are two people just destined to be together, so I was so excited to see if they would get together!
I am so intrigued about the famous heartberry in this story! I could just imagine what they looked like and the taste!

Sick of the lies Alice knows it’s time to lay the past to rest once and for all. But could the truth ruin her hopes of ever calling Honeysuckle Farm home again?

My Review
This was a book I just enjoyed so much, from that very first page to the last I was hooked! The story itself is just emotional and I had tears in my eyes a few times!
The characters in this you just instantly warm to, something has happened to tear this little family who used to be so close and for this to happen you just know whatever it was that caused this was big! So there was a lot of drama!
Alice is just a strong character desperate for her family to make peace, and my heart just goes out to her.
With Christie's books the way she describes things is just amazing, she makes it so easy to imagine what the places, characters and everything look like. I honestly felt like I was there too!
And can I just say that I have fallen in love with 'Wild Rose Cottage' and I really want to move there it just sounds so beautiful and cosy!
What I loved the most about this book was it was unpredictable, no matter how much you guess you just don't know what is going to happen next and how its going to end.

Blog Tour - Who needs Men anyway?

Publication date 2nd April 2018
About the book
Don't get mad, get even..
Thirty-something Charlotte’s Emsworth’s life is a sickeningly perfect round of charity events, hot yoga, and romantic gestures for sexy lawyer husband James. But, patiently waiting to get pregnant, Charlotte is bored. And when she’s bored, she has a tendency to meddle…
First, it’s her personal trainer Megan’s cheating fiancé, then the gardener Sam’s wife’s ‘late nights at the office’. But soon the meddling, however well-intentioned, lands Charlotte in way over her head, and all the time spent ‘managing’ other people’s lives makes her blind to the cracks appearing in her own…
Getting even is one thing, but what about getting happy?
My Review
I was looking forward to reading this as I am a fan of Victoria Cooke's books and I have to say I think this is her best book yet! I absolutely loved this one it was so fun and I really enjoyed it. I really couldn't put it down it was so exciting so much drama.

There are loads of characters in this book and it is so easy to love them all. It was really great to see how Charlotte changed from when we first meet her at the start of the book she is definitely a different woman by the end of it. I also enjoyed the friendship circle in this book and how they got through things together and just had fun.

Even though you think you know what way the plot is going to go there are loads of little twists and surprises throughout which really kept you reading and guessing just how it was going to end.

Such a beautiful, heart warming fun read! One of my favourite books of the year!

Blog Tour - Ottercombe Bay Raising the Bar

Publication date 5th April 2018

About the book

Escape to the Devon coast, with Part Three of a brand-new four-part serial from the author of Willow Cottage.

Daisy Wickens has returned to Ottercombe Bay, the picturesque Devon town where her mother died when she was a girl. She plans to leave as soon as her great uncle’s funeral is over, but Great Uncle Reg had other ideas. He’s left Daisy a significant inheritance – an old building in a state of disrepair, which could offer exciting possibilities, but to get it she must stay in Ottercombe Bay for twelve whole months.
With the help of a cast of quirky locals, a few gin cocktails and a black pug with plenty of attitude, Daisy might just turn this into something special. But can she ever hope to be happy among the ghosts of her past?
My Review
I was so excited to get part 3 and find out what was next for Daisy and I just hoped everything would go well in this part as she deserves a bit of happiness.
It was so exciting to see some romance happen in this part.
I couldn't put part 3 down I just had to keep reading it was so good! Then it came to an end with a huge cliff hanger ahhh! I can't wait to read the next part!
This really is a fun and exciting little series and I am enjoying every part of it.
