My Review
I love the whole concept of this book, online dating.  Its the current craze at the minute so its nice to have this hilariously good take on it.
This book really opens your eyes to how love isn't just about a persons looks etc and it really makes you think outside your 'type'.
Sophia is really easy to get to know and you really just want her to finally find love and be happy. 
The ending was brilliant and I was delighted to finish this book with a huge smile on my face.
You really must pick this up and read it as its so funny and light hearted.  I was laughing my head off throughout.
I think after reading this a lot of people will be inspire
ed to go on a journey of online dating and have fun and find their perfect match.

My Review

I seen quite a lot of people talking about this book and it made me need to read it!

Oh my goodness it was fantastic, my  heart was pounding the whole way through the book and I just could not put it down, I  read it in a few hours!

There is so many twists and turns throughout it is so hard to keep up, I was so scared, I just didn't know what was going to happen next.

At times I hated all the characters, times I loved them.

I just couldn't imagine all this happening, so so scary and really opens your eyes to this evil world.

Looking back, it was that one single sentence that caught me. 

I thought for a moment, then nodded in agreement, absolutely chiming with what Lauren had said. Because it had been a huge struggle for me too, back in the day. I didn’t come from a legal background, unlike so many in my class at college who had parents and relations practising as barristers and, in one case, even a High Court judge. 

I remembered all too vividly how tough I’d found it to get a paralegal job – any kind of job, really – after I first graduated, all those years ago. How I’d had to graft away as a postgraduate, doing any kind of legal temping work that came my way. I had to shatter every glass ceiling I came in contact with all by myself, with absolutely no one to help me. Then eventually after years of that, an opportunity finally opened up for me at Sloan Curtis. It felt utterly miraculous to me that I’d managed to land an actual bona fide job there. I really couldn’t – then or now – believe my luck. 

‘All down to my magic novena to St Joseph,’ my mother had preached at the time, wagging a triumphant finger in my face. Yeah, right. More to do with the fact that I invested years practically battering down the door of Sloan Curtis before I could even get an interview in the place. 

Because Lauren was absolutely right. The legal world was then and is now a virtual closed shop, and it takes grit and iron determination to get a foot in the door. And that’s only if you happen to be one of the incredibly fortunate ones. 

‘So where did you qualify?’ I asked, turning my attention back to Lauren, feeling guilty for not having engaged with her a bit more beforehand. 

It struck me as strange that she didn’t even attempt to answer my question. Instead she flushed red with a coy, embarrassed little shake of her head.

‘Or did you study abroad?’ I persisted, confused by the silence. 

‘It’s a long story,’ she said quietly.

My Review

Being a huge fan of Jenny Colgan I was thrilled to get this book.  I must admit it took me quite a few chapters to get into this book but once I got familiar with the characters I really enjoyed getting to know them and the little village and I could not put it down.

I am so glad I kept reading as this was such a beautiful book and very emotional I had tears in my eyes throughout.

It was great how the ending wasn't how I predicted and it came as a shock to me.

This book features some strong fantastic characters that really capture your heart.

I loved how Jenny included very current storylines that personally I didn't know a lot about so it was really interesting finding out about them.

This is going to be a best seller!

My Review
This is the first book I have read from Sun Chara, and I must say I enjoyed it! It is a real quick and easy to read novel.
I thought the character Stella was really good, she really strikes up a cute bond with Stan's son and I thought it was really sweet.
Stan is a man who thinks he can get what he want though I think when his son was around we seen a softer sweet side of him but I hated his dirty tricks and they things he did to get what he wanted.
Stella and Stan's relationship was very intense and they clearly have chemistry. She knows he is trouble but she is drawn to him.
I really liked this novel the story it was unpredictable, I didn't know what way it would end.
This book is perfect for the upcoming romantic Valentines day!

My Review
I was so excited to read this book and be whisked away to Florence which sounds like a truly beautiful place. 

The descriptions in this book where absolutely spot on and made it so easy to imagine, the smells, sights everything when I was reading this I really did believe I was there with Debbie.

Debbie was a brilliant character I just loved her from the very start and its so nice cause she is getting a chance to go to Florence a place she always dreams of visiting. I was so happy to see how things progressed for her throughout the book! I really did have a smile on my face!

Reading this has made me want to book a flight straight to Florence for a holiday!

I just love reading T.A William's books you can just feel the amount of passion he puts into his novels and it is such a pleasure to read them!

My review

I am a huge fan of this series so I was extremely thrilled to read this next book and it did not disappoint!

The cover caught my eye straight away, it is so beautiful. The colours and everything is just perfect!

It was so good to start the book where the first one left off so we haven't missed much and it made it so easy to read as I was already familiar with the characters.

Caroline is the main character this time, and she is welcomed to the village by all the characters and she was given the opportunity to run the new restaurant that the carters are opening and start a fresh new life.  Though its clear shes hiding something especially when a stranger turns up.

I loved the sexual chemistry between Jonathan and Caroline and I was begging them to get together as they are so perfect together!

I enjoyed seeing Anna and Matthews life progress and them welcoming their little baby. 

Absolutely loved this book, so so enjoyable and really makes you feel happy!

HANNA

Sligo, Ireland, 1961

It was her first visit to Dr Dorian Black’s surgery, and Hanna liked him straight away.

She had only been living in Killa for a few weeks at the time. After her father died suddenly, two years before, her mother Margaret decided they needed a new start and rented a small cottage in Killa, a fishing village on the north-west coast of county Sligo. Margaret hoped proximity to the sea would help heal their ongoing grief. Indeed, Margarets spirits lifted as she began a new life among people who knew little or nothing about her, fitting easily into the friendly new parish. Hanna, just thirteen, had settled well into the local convent school. Their home was at the end of the pier, and Hanna developed an appetite for the fresh, salty air, spending hours sitting on the front wall reading and watching the sea. However, this time spent in the chilly air had also resulted in a nasty cough. Margaret, overly protective of her only child, had brought her straight up to the local surgery where she had been greeted by this kind, handsome Dr Black.

‘Now, we’re going to have to take a little look in your mouth, Hanna. Can you open wide for me?’ Hanna opened her mouth widely and he peered in. He smelt of soap and she felt trangely pleased to be in the company of a nice man, even if he was only their doctor. Most of the men they knew from home were farmers, rough and ready, smelling of manure or beer. This man was clean and gentle, like her father. She missed him. It had been two years now and Hanna had started to find it hard to call his face to mind. ‘Now, that doesn’t look too bad.’Dorian leaned back and took his stethoscope

from around his neck. Hanna smiled at him. His accent was refined, barely detectable as Irish. She reminded him of a Jane Austen hero, handsome and dapper like Darcy, but friendly and open too, like Bingley.

‘Well, young lady,’ he said, ‘I think you’ll live.’Hanna laughed. Then he turned his attention to Margaret. ‘But, I am writing you a prescription for some antibiotics to clear this nasty cough.

‘Thank you, Doctor,’ Margaret said. ‘Please,’ he said, smiling, ‘call me Dorian.’ ‘Thank you, Dorian.’ Hanna noticed her mother blushing. Margaret was taken with him and, for a moment, Hanna felt pricked with possessive irritation. She reminded herself that her father was dead and it was nice, after all, to see her mother smiling.  As they were leaving, Dorian signalled Margaret to stay back for a private word. For a split second she had a dreadful feeling that there was something wrong with Hanna. After losing Liam, she knew she had become unnaturally attached to her daughter. There was just the two of them now. She couldn’t face it if Hanna were sick. ‘I was wondering,’ Dr Black said, his eyes downcast in shyness,‘if you would do me the honour of allowing me to take you and Hanna out to dinner this evening.’

Over the coming weeks, Dorian courted Margaret. It was like a dream. This charming, erudite man had come into their lives after all the pain, hurt and shock of the last two years. She could hardly believe her luck in finding love again and, although she was as head over heels as a schoolgirl, it was Dorian’s kindness towards Hanna that truly won Margaret's heart. Most men would have baulked at taking on another man’s daughter, but every time they went out for a drive, to a nice hotel for dinner or to a movie theatre, he always made sure to invite Hanna. Even when they went to Dublin for a weekend, Dorian insisted she and Hanna shared their own room in the Shelbourne rather than have Hanna enduring the upset of her mother being with another man. During the Christmas period I was able to relax my reading schedule and pick up one of my favourite authors latest novels!  This was also my last Christmas book of the year! I definitely saved the best till last!

My Review

I found it so hard keeping this book till Christmas week to read but I am so glad I did as it was the most perfect Christmas read.

This book is again based in Wynbridge,  it is just a beautiful place every part of it that we have read before in each of Heidi's previous novels just sounds so perfect! I really believe Wynbridge holds a special place in my heart and I just want it to be real and live there with the characters too! It would be heaven!

Anna is a really warming character though you get the feeling she is holding something back? She never really commits to anything and hasn't seemed to have settled anywhere.  I feel Wynthorpe Hall has come along at the perfect time for Anna and it is just what she needs.  I couldn't wait to find out what she was hiding and why she hated Christmas and settling so much. 

The owners of the Hall, Angus & Catherine where the nicest, kindest people about they welcomed Anna from the very first moment they met her and they treated her as part of the family.  They really put a smile on my face!

Jamie is the perfect match for Anna, they both help each other out and help each other try and get over their problems.  It is also clear from the moment they meet their is red hot chemistry between them and I just couldn't wait to find out if they would get together.

With every Wynbridge book you have the returning characters, and everytime I read about them I just get so excited and happy!  They really are characters that you connect with and really get attached to! Its lovely to see how they all progress during each book!

Absolutely gutted when I read the last page! I did not want it to end! But happy because Heidi has did it again, she has wrote another spectacular novel!

My Review

As soon as I heard the name of this book and seen the cover for it, I was excited to read it! I knew it would be good!

I absolutely loved the character Esme, my heart just went out to her she's just had a disaster and had every girls worst nightmare happen to her, the worst bit was it was so unexpected!

I couldn't believe how quick things moved in this book, like within a few days Esme had a completely new life and I felt so happy for her.  From the minute she got the room in the boy's house she was just a different person completely she seemed a lot stronger and happier and we seen her having lots of laughter and fun!

A few points in the book and I was so annoyed I just wanted to tell Esme to pull herself together. Another part near the end I just could not believe what I was reading!

I was excited to see what was behind each other little doors! I loved this idea! It gives single girls something to focus on and look forward to each day!

The Single Girl's Calendar is hilariously good! Its pure fun and feel good! A bit like Bridget Jones but better!
