Blog Tour - My Husband's Child

Publication date 4th March 2025
About the Book
When I find a little girl standing on my doorstep, I don’t know what to do. But as I take her small hand in mine, she whispers words that will change my life. ‘Mummy said you’d look after me.’

Ever since her husband left her for another woman, Cora has been trying to put her life back together. But when she hears he started a family, her heart breaks all over again. And so, when the doorbell rings late one night, the last person Cora expects to find is her husband’s child.

The little girl is shivering, clutching her baby brother’s hand. With no other choice, Cora ushers the children into her home. As she settles them by the fire, she tries to work out what happened. But as the days pass and her phone calls go unanswered, she realises the children’s parents have vanished without a trace…

Over the following weeks, Cora grows to love the children as if they were her own. And as she tucks them into bed each night, pressing a kiss to their foreheads, her heart feels fuller than she ever could have imagined.

But when her ex-husband’s wife reappears, Cora senses she isn’t telling the truth about why she abandoned her children. And when Cora’s ex-husband returns, claiming the children aren’t safe with their mother, she faces an impossible choice. Should Cora believe him or the children’s mother? And should she trust her instinct that something is terribly wrong?

An utterly compelling and heartbreaking story about motherhood and a devastating family secret. Readers who love Kate Hewitt, Jodi Picoult and Diane Chamberlain will be totally captivated by this deeply emotional novel.

My Review
This is an incredibly heart warming and emotional read. I absolutely loved the character Cora, she has been through so much and is one tough lady, she has so much love for these kids that are not even hers and treated them as her own and my heart just went out to her. I was desperate for everything to work out ok for her and dreaded her having to give the kids back as she had just become so attached to them.

The book kept me guessing throughout on who was telling the truth.. the husband or the children's mother. I doubted them both and had my suspicions.

Blog Tour - Everyone is Lying

Publication date 26th February 2025

About the book

It’s so peaceful here: a quiet house on a quiet street. The smiling woman waiting for me as I wake up says I’m lucky to be here – lucky to be alive. But the only thing I remember are the faces of my husband and baby. The husband and baby she insists don’t exist…

As I look around at the unfamiliar bedroom I’ve been in since I awoke from my coma – the floral curtains softly fluttering and the antique-style light above my head – all I can think about is my husband’s handsome face and the laughter of our sweet baby.

I’m desperate to see them again.

My eyes fall on the woman sitting by my bed. She tells me she’s my sister. But she also swears my husband and baby aren’t real. That I’m just confused after the accident.

I know she’s lying.

But… if my husband is real, where is he? Why hasn’t he come to get me?

And why am I locked in this room every day? My heart pounds every time I hear the key turn. Then I discover the anonymous note buried deep in a bunch of flowers beside me – with just two words on it:
I’m sorry

Everyone is lying to me. But confined to this bed, with no memory to guide me, can I uncover the truth about the accident – and what their plans are for me – before it’s too late…?

My Review

This book just wow! It had me on the edge of my seat. I was completely hooked. I couldn’t put this down until I finished it. The story is completely gripping and you will be desperate to find out what was happening.

This is a book I will definitely recommend.
