Blog Tour - Mother Of The Bride

Publication date 26th March 2024
About the book

My mother is obsessed with every detail of my wedding – controlling my dress, my ring, my happiness. But when the day finally comes, will she really let me go? Last year, my sister’s fiancĂ© was murdered on his wedding day. And I found my mother’s corsage next to his body…

I’m beaming as I walk down the aisle, but my smile masks a prickling fear, even though this is supposed to be the happiest day of my life.

My husband-to-be, Owen, is everything to me, with his sandy hair and sparkling blue eyes. He keeps telling me it will all be fine. I pray he’s right as I slip a gold band onto his finger with trembling hands.

Please let me be wrong about what my mother did. Please let Owen be safe.

But when the priest asks if anyone objects, I turn to look at my mother. Her eyes are icy beneath the brim of her hat, and she’s staring right at me.

Is my husband’s life in danger? Or is it mine…?

A page-turning, addictive psychological thriller from an Amazon no. 1 bestseller with twists that will have your head spinning until the very end. Fans of The Housemaid, The Family Upstairs and The Perfect Marriage will be absolutely gripped!

Blog Tour - She Has My Child

Publication date 26th March 2024
About the Book
The first time I hear the miraculous thud of my baby’s heartbeat, I’m clutching my sister’s hand. I was so happy when she offered to be our surrogate. But then I see the look on her face and I’m flooded with fear. This precious baby girl might be my child, but my sister is carrying her. Will she really be able to give her up?

All I’ve ever wanted is to be a mother. To have a child to take care of, to complete the family Mark and I are so desperate for. But after years of trying, my grandmother’s lovingly restored crib still lies empty. My dream is out of reach and Mark is more distant than ever. Until my impulsive sister Sophia suddenly offers me the greatest gift of all…

Her surrogacy will give me the baby I’ve prayed for. And there are so many painful memories from our broken childhood: could it even bring us closer as sisters? But as Sophia blooms with our miracle baby, Mark’s secretive behaviour has me questioning our marriage. And as I watch my sister’s face when the baby kicks, I wonder…
why did she really offer to carry my child?

As Sophia gets closer to the birth, the hurtful secrets that forced us apart all those years ago come to light. And it’s terrifyingly clear that history is going to repeat itself, my innocent baby stuck in the middle. Because despite everything I thought I knew,
how far can I really trust my sister with my baby…?

An utterly compelling and totally emotional tale about secrets within families, and how far you can really trust the people closest to you. Perfect for fans of Jodi Picoult, Jojo Moyes and Kate Hewitt.

My Review
This is one hell of an emotional rollercoaster of a book. Honestly before you read this make sure you have plenty of tissues as you will go from having tears in your eyes to crying your eyes out. Aswell as being emotional it is a really heart warming story.
Absolutely loved the characters they are characters that I think people will relate to especially if you have a sister.
Very well written and I will definitely be recommending this book.

Blog Tour - The Perfect Housemate

Publication date 28th March 2024
About the book
You let her in. You shouldn’t have…
I was so nervous about someone new joining our house share; after everything that happened with my parents, my friends are like my family. Our imperfect but well-loved house is the only place where I can be myself. But when Poppy knocks on our door, blonde hair, wide eyes and a friendly smile, we all agree she’s a perfect fit. I just wish I could shake the feeling that I’ve seen her before…
At first, everything runs smoothly. But one day, Poppy arrives home with my housemates in tow. She says she ‘forgot’ to invite me to the movie. My stomach drops. As she sidles up to my friends, I’m gripped by a familiar panic.
If Poppy is from my past, will she turn my friends against me? Will she tell them the secret I’ve so carefully buried?
I feel like Poppy’s watching my every move. My home used to be the place where I felt most comfortable. But as she places a delicious home-cooked meal in front of me, I don’t even feel safe eating here.
I have to find out who she really is, and what she wants.
And when I do, will she realise too late which one of us is truly dangerous?
An absolutely gripping page-turner about the dark secrets harboured by the people closest to us. Fans of Shari Lapena, Lisa Jewell and Sally Hepworth won’t be able to put down The Perfect Housemate!

Blog Tour - The Playgroup

Publication date 21st March 2024
About the book
Breath catches in my throat and terror grips me as my daughter’s favourite jumper slides into focus. Time slows. Helpless, I watch my precious little girl run into the road. Screeching tyres slice through the quiet afternoon. Days from now, my friends will say the worst day of my life was all my fault…

A bright and welcoming haven, the playgroup sits at the heart of the town, tucked away inside a red-brick building. The Nest should have been the safest place for my rosy-cheeked, pink-obsessed daughter, Florence. Run by mothers like me, I trusted my newfound friends – Alice, Beth and Georgie – to take care of my child. But now my choice has left Florence fighting for her life.

My heart pounds thinking about what I will tell my husband, James. He stayed with me through the darkest times, and I thought some space would bring us closer. But as I watch our little girl sleeping in a hospital bed, I know our relationship may never recover from this.

How can I tell James what really happened if I don’t know myself? I can’t shake the feeling the other mothers are lying to me; they know I’d never let Florence leave the nursery by herself. We’ve all got dangerous secrets we want to protect, but if they expose mine, will anyone, including my husband, believe me when I say I didn’t harm my daughter?

A completely gripping psychological suspense about the dark price of protecting your family, perfect for fans of Liane Moriarty, Adele Parks and Sally Hepworth.

My Review

This is an extremely well written and absolutely gripping read. I literally found it so difficult to tear myself away from it.

It's one of every parents worst nightmares especially when you put your trust in people. I was honestly frightened, you could feel my heart pounding. I was so scared for this little girl and her mother.

I think a lot of mother's will be able to relate to parts of this story.

Jam packed with twists and unpredictable events which makes you even more addicted to the book. You'll be in shock aswell as you won't see these twists coming.

I'll definitely be reading more from this author in the future and will be recommending this book.

The location of the cruise ship I loved. I found this made it more frightening as there was no way off the boat until it arrives at port. My heart was pounding throughout.

This has to be one of my all time favourite books I have ever read. I will most definitely be reading more from this author in the future and I will be recommending this book to everyone!

Blog Tour - I Let Her In

Publication date 19th March 2024
About the book
I tread quietly up the plush carpeted stairs. There’s no-one here to see me as Cassie and Jon’s bedroom door creaks gently open. I’ve watched them from afar for so long. Now I’m finally in their house. But there’s no time to waste. I’m here for a reason, and I’m going to get what I came for, whatever the cost…

I open the front door and there’s Amy, smiling sweetly and ready to help. She’s been a lifesaver since Jon and I moved here – from walking the dog to picking up my little son Teddy from nursery last minute. I’m so lucky we met in the playground the first day we arrived. Amy is more than just a good friend. My only friend, really.

Whenever Amy and Jon exchange glances I’m sure it seems like they’ve met before, even though Jon swears they haven’t. But then again Jon recognises lots of people from his childhood round here without truly knowing them. I’ve put it out of my mind. Just like my fear of being watched. I need to remember I’m safe now.

But today, when I turn up at Teddy’s nursery, I learn I was so, so wrong. The teacher tells me Amy picked him up an hour ago. Now they have both disappeared.

I am frantic. I will do anything to get my son back. I should have known I can’t trust anyone. Then the phone rings, and I know what I have to do…

An utterly absorbing and shocking psychological thriller with the most unexpected of twists, this novel is perfect for fans of Lisa Jewell, Mark Edwards and The Woman in the Window.
My Review
Wow! What a fantastic book! I was so intrigued from that first chapter so I literally couldn't put this down. I was dying to know what was going to happen. So many times I was frightened throughout this. It really has you hooked honestly and just when you think you know how it will end it completely shocks you! This author is definitely one of my favourites now! They know how to write a bestseller! I will be recommending this to everyone!

Blog Tour - The Garden Party

Publication date 14th March 2024
About the book
As families gather in the shared garden, drinking lavish cocktails that have been arranged on pretty checked tablecloths, Rachel finally feels at home. Her new house is the perfect escape from the terrible mistakes she’s made. Until she finds out that a little girl drowned in the pond at the centre of this circle of picture-perfect houses…

Years ago, a tragedy struck the tree-lined street. The community was devastated: they held each other close, and tried to support the poor mother who lost her young daughter, Maddie. But she soon moved away, and the house has sat untouched ever since.

Who was supposed to be looking after Maddie that day? Did someone take their eyes off this innocent little child? Just as fast as everyone speaks up, they start to become tight-lipped. Is the house the key to uncovering what someone did all those years ago? Is there a reason no one has stayed very long at number two?

But when Rachel sees a picture of Maddie’s sparkling eyes and wide smile in a newspaper clipping, a memory floods back. And she knows she cannot leave.
She’s the only person who will do whatever it takes to find out the truth, even if it puts her life in terrible danger…

A twisty and utterly unputdownable thriller about the secrets hidden behind closed doors. Fans of Lisa Jewell, Freida McFadden and K.L. Slater will be up all night desperate to keep reading.
My Review
From the minute you pick up this book you will be hooked. I really struggled to pull myself away from this book as I needed to keep reading to find out what was happening.
An absolutely fantastic plot with so many unexpected twists and an ending you will definitely not see coming.

Blog Tour - The Widow Bride

Publication date 11th March 2024
About the book
As I look down to the beautiful arch set up on the beach for our wedding, I have to stop myself running into Blake’s arms. It’s so soon after my first husband passed away—but Blake and I are meant to be... aren’t we? There are no family or friends beaming at me this time, but everything is perfect… isn’t it?
Since I lost my first husband, Blake has been there for me, showering me with gifts and affection, holding my hand as I go back into the world. He’s the only one who truly understands what I’ve been through. How hard it’s been on me. So, when Blake insisted we keep our elopement a secret, I agreed. But, now, it feels wrong to walk down the aisle between empty chairs.
As I step in front of the officiant with my husband-to-be, I think back to my last conversation with my first husband’s sister. Should I have listened when she tried to warn me about Blake’s past?
Maybe it’s just wedding day nerves… But when I meet Blake’s brown eyes, there’s something dark in them I’ve never seen before. He grips my wrist to put the ring on my finger, and a shiver runs down my spine when he says, “Finally, you’re mine.”
I remember my sister-in-law’s warning and I tremble. But it’s too late to turn back now.
Marrying him is the only option because I have secrets of my own.
Blake may think he knows me, but he has no idea who he’s really dealing with…

Blog Tour - The Split

Publication Date 4th March 2024

About the book

The end of our marriage was only the beginning…

Last night, we celebrated our anniversary. Over candlelight, we talked about the children, our work, and I was so happy, and felt so loved.

But the next morning, when I check my phone, there is a message. From a friend. And a string of photos appear of my husband, Will, with another woman: walking along the street holding hands. Going into fancy hotels. Standing at a window, his arms around her, her head on his shoulder…

I beg Will to tell me what’s going on. But all he can say is that it’s not what I think. As if the betrayal wasn’t bad enough, he won’t even be honest with me.

And now there’s someone watching our house. Will is acting like a stranger and I think he’s following me. I can’t trust him anymore, and I desperately need to know who sent me those photos and why.

But maybe Will is telling the truth.

Maybe it’s not what I think.

Because the more our pain stops us talking, and the more the two of us tear each other apart, the more I wonder if I ever knew him at all – and what I’ll have to risk to protect my children.

And when at last the secrets are revealed, will the truth save our family, or destroy us all?

A thrilling, gripping page-turner about a marriage falling apart and the darkness love can contain. Readers who love Lisa Jewell, Ruth Ware and Shari Lapena will be hooked by The Split.

My Review

Oh my god this is one book that will reel you in and not let go till that very last page. There was so many twists, I literally couldn’t predict what was going to happen. The characters where fantastic. Such a gripping read. Definitely going to be a best seller!

The Girl In Seat 2A

Publication date 19th January 2024

About the book

Funny how one lie can spiral…

One thing about me: I HATE flying. It’s my worst nightmare.

That’s why I book seat 2A every time I fly. Since my big win, I've been booking seats 2B and 2C as well. They’re my comfort seats, they cushion the claustrophobia, and at last I can afford them.

I am now determined to live the life of luxury. I deserve it, after all.

How to Live Like a Millionaire is the book I’m reading on this flight. When it lands on the floor, a handsome guy hands it back to me. I know he clocks the title, because he’s totally charming and talks to me as if I’m one of the Marbella Millionaire set.

When I land in sunny Spain, I’ll be acting like a millionairess, that’s for sure – even if it’s stretching the truth, just a bit. We all know that money talks, and I intend to talk my way into a better life.

Who knows… maybe this guy, the one who had the cheek to sit down in seat 2C, might be someone special. He has an air of danger, but who cares?

My Review

Oh my!!!!! I can tell why this book is a bestseller.  It captured my attention from that first chapter and I struggled to put it down. Did not see the twists coming at all and I had no idea how this book was going to end. Absolutely frightening at times honestly I was so scared what was going to happen. Il definitely be recommending this book to everyone I know.

Blog Tour- Her Daughter

Publication date 1st March 2024

About the book
When my best friend’s teenage daughter comes to see me, I know something is wrong. With tear-filled eyes, she says she’s pregnant and begs me not to tell her mother. I know I’m betraying my best friend but as I look at Chloe’s terrified expression, I don’t know how I will find the strength to say no…

No matter what life throws at me, I have always been able to depend on my best friend
Rachel. In nineteen years of friendship, we’ve never argued or fallen out. So, I’m wracked by guilt over my decision to keep her daughter Chloe’s pregnancy a secret. I don’t want to break Chloe’s trust but, if I don’t say anything, it could destroy my relationship with Rachel.

I hoped Chloe would find the confidence to tell her mom, but days have passed, and the guilt is eating me alive. As much as I want to support Chloe, I don’t know how much longer l can lie to my best friend. I spend every day completely gripped by a panic that sends my heart racing.

The pressure only worsens when I discover that Chloe has one more thing that she’s been hiding. Something that could destroy the perfect life I’ve worked so hard to build—the family I love so much and the career I’m so passionate about.

And then I realize that Chloe isn’t the only one with secrets. Rachel has been lying to us all…

The three of us are more entwined than ever but when the truth comes out, what will be left of our friendship and our families?

An absolutely heartbreaking story about friendship, jealousy and the damage we cause by hiding the truth. Perfect for fans of Jodi Picoult, Jojo Moyes and Kate Hewitt.

My Review
