My Review

I was extremely excited to read this book after reading the description as it sounded like one of my favourite types of book to read. Let me tell you.. this book did not disappoint! It is one of the best books I’ve read in quite a while. 

From that very first chapter I was engrossed and I couldn’t put this down. The characters are spot on and you become very fond of them. I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen to Freya with her fresh start in Polcarrow. The location of a little cafe I loved! I just found this so cosy and could imagine myself there. 

This book is absolutely perfect to read in the sun this year it’s definitely a summer read and will be sure to make you feel good. I loved everything about this book and I need more… please bring out a part 2!

I will definitely be reading more from this author, she sure knows how to write a bestseller!

My Review 

Oh my this book is really warm and cosy and when you read this you instantly feel yourself smiling.

I absolutely adored the characters in this, and their unlikely friendship that just comes so naturally to them.

The location this book is set in is absolutely stunning too and the writer has described it beautifully and made it so easy to imagine being there.

The story itself is just really lovely. I really enjoyed it. So easy to read.

My Review

Firstly can I just point out this beautiful cover, its completely eye catching, the colours are so summery, I love it. 

Anyway back to the story itself, and it was a real joy getting back go Nightingale Square where we have been so many times before in previous books. It’s a place we have all fell in love with, a place we would all love to live. The community is my favourite the way they all look out for each other and the love and kindness they have for each other is just amazing.

Beth is the main character in this book and instantly you just warm to her, you can really feel she bas been through a lot the last few years and you just know it is her time for happiness. I loved being on the journey with Beth and seeing what was going to happen for her. 

Another character that features heavily in this is Eli, and my goodness you will just fall in love with him from the minute we are introduced to him. You don’t find too much out about him at the start but it all starts to unravel and you just know he’s one of a kind, a real gentleman. 

A lot of the story takes place at Beth’s workplace which is a care home. After spending many years myself working in a care home I found it all so easy to imagine and I just felt that loving, caring atmosphere straight away. The residents there just warm your heart.

I have to say this was one of my favourite Heidi Swain books, I read this so quickly as I couldn’t put it down, I was so gripped with it. It’s a really beautiful story that will leave a smile on your face. I need more from this gorgeous Nightingale Square and I can’t wait for the next one.

My Review

Oh my goodness what an absolutely beautiful book this is! From start to finish I just loved this. The character’s in this are fabulous and really easy to love. I really felt like I knew them. Liza is such a lovely girl, I just wanted everything to work out good for her.

The location of this book is completely stunning, honestly I could just imagine it so well. I would just love to live there. The community etc just a really warm welcoming place.

This book has got me so excited for Christmas and I definitely believe this will be the best Christmas book this year!
