Blog Tour - One of the Family

Publication date 30th October 2025

About the book

My daughter’s boyfriend feels like one of the family. I couldn’t be happier to have him living with us. But now my daughter’s disappeared…

I never wanted to have an empty nest. So when my daughter, Liv, asks if she and her new boyfriend, Jensen, can move in, I’m thrilled.

Jensen is so helpful. He tells me how he loves being part of a close-knit family. He’s felt so alone since his parents died. And for me, his presence goes a little way towards replacing the son I lost.

Still, I can’t help but notice that Liv and Jensen are starting to argue. My daughter seems unhappy. Perhaps they just need some time alone together?

But when my husband and I return from our weekend away, Liv is missing. The relationship with Jensen appears to be over but he doesn’t want to leave. And then I discover exactly what he will do to stay in our family…

An utterly gripping psychological thriller that will have you turning pages late into the night. If you love Lisa Jewell and Freida McFadden you will be hooked on One of the Family.

My Review
Wow! What a book! I swear I was completely hooked with this and couldn’t put it down.
The thing that makes this book absolutely fantastic is the fact that it makes you guess right up till the end, and when you think you know then along comes more twists. Oh and the twists oh boy they where good!
I loved the way this book was written too.

Blog Tour- Christmas at the Scottish Lodge

    Publication date 27th October 2025

    About the book

Escape to Holly Berry Lodge in the Scottish Highlands. Join Mairi Fraser for the festive season, curl up next to a cosy fireplace with a warm mug of hot chocolate. And get ready to meet the one that got away….

Thirty-three-year-old Mairi is at her Aunt Effie’s snowy lodge in the Highlands for Christmas. It’s her favourite place in the world, where she spent every childhood holiday. The comforting view of the mountaintops is just what she needs after a rollercoaster year. But Mairi finds herself unexpectedly snowed in, along with her handsome ex Jed Murray

As the snowflakes fall heavily outside, Mairi tries to close her eyes and block out the sight of Jed’s dark hair and broad shoulders – but it’s easier said than done. His muscles flex as he stacks the logs he’s gathered to build them a fire. Even though they’re united in their goal of getting Effie’s lodge ready for Christmas, Mairi is determined not to fall for Jed again.

Except moving on from him feels impossible when they’re in such close quarters. Their time together draping tinsel around the Christmas tree and baking gingerbread cookies in the kitchen makes the memories of how good they were together all come rushing back. And as the spiced scent of biscuits fills the air, things start to heat up between Jed and Mairi too.

Will Jed reveal the real reason he left and earn Mairi’s trust once more? And will the magic of Christmas finally bring them back together?

A gorgeous winter romance to lose yourself in this Christmas. Perfect for fans of Nicola May, Trisha Ashley and Debbie Macomber—and best accompanied by a mulled wine!

    My Review

This is a pure festive delight. It has everything you want from a Christmas book. Such a cosy warm and beautiful read. Once you pick this up you will become attached to it, the story is so heartwarming.
The main character Mairi is so lovable, from the minute you meet her you just want the best for her.
I will definitely be recommending this one to everyone this Christmas.

Blog Tour - The Baby On My Doorstep

    Publication date 7th October 2025

    About the Book
I thought my sister was killed a year ago. But now her baby is on my doorstep…

I’m drinking a glass of wine in my quiet, empty house, listening to the silence and wondering if I will always be this lonely… And then I hear the knock.

When I open the door, I can’t believe what I see. A small bundle, pink fists waving weakly under a patterned blanket, gorgeous deep blue eyes blinking up at me.

    A baby.

I rush to pick her up, clutching her tightly. Who can she belong to? Why would someone abandon her at my door?

I call the police, and social care. But I could never have predicted what happened next. Because when they run DNA, the baby is related to me.

    She’s my sister’s child.

But that’s impossible. My sister was murdered a year ago.

    Wasn’t she?

A completely gripping and unputdownable thriller from the bestselling author of Not My Mother that will keep you gripped from the first page to the final shocking twist. Perfect for fans of Lisa Jewell, Lucy Foley and Gillian Flynn.

    My Review
If there’s a book that will grip you to the very end and keep you guessing it has got to be this one. I literally couldn’t put it down.

The story itself you will be hooked, you will fly through the pages desperate to find out what was going on.

What I loved about this book was the pace was fast which made this book so easy to devour in a single sitting.

I will definitely be recommending this book.
