Blog Tour - Christmas at The Dancing Duck

Today I am so excited to be part of the Blog Tour for 'Christmas at the Dancing Duck' by 'Daisy James.'  I have to say that the cover really caught my eye and made me so excited to read this! Its a really wonderful winter cover!

Publication date 23rd October 2017

About the book
The most wonderful time of the year!
Ever since tragedy struck a few years ago, television presenter Kirstie Harrison has hated Christmas -but she didn't intend to tell the whole country live on air!
She needs to lie low for a few weeks, so she's finally coming home for the holidays, determined that this Christmas will be different...
Staying at the family pub, The Dancing Duck, means it's impossible not to get caught up in the little village of Cranbury's festive traditions.  And it's equally impossible to avoid her ex, Josh Turner! Kirstie is torn between making this the best Christmas yet and knowing that she can't stay forever.
Maybe it's time to make a holiday wish of her own...?

My Review
From the very first chapter my heart went out to Kirstie. I was cringing for her when she found out that the conversation she just had about hating Christmas was live on air - it was just her luck! But on the positive side she got to return home and we got to see a much more relaxed Kirstie.

The Dancing Duck was the perfect place for this book to be set, it felt so warm and cosy and had a great atmosphere.  When I found out Kirstie and her sister where selling The Dancing Duck it was devastating,  I really felt The Dancing Duck held a huge spot in Kirsties heart and I just wanted her to fight to keep it!

I really enjoyed seeing Kirstie reconnect with her ex Josh, he really seemed like a kind and caring person, with a passion for The Dancing Duck and that's what I felt she really needed and deserved, she was like a different happier person around him.

I really feel Christmas at The Dancing Duck really has everything you want in a great festive read and it was so easy to read.  I was gutted when the book ended and I really have my fingers crossed that we will hear more from Kirstie in the future and she was a fantastic character, really lovable.

A fabulously festive read!

When not scribbling away in her peppermint-and-green summerhouse (garden shed), she spends her time sifting flour and sprinkling sugar and edible glitter.
