Blog Tour - Stuck Together

Publication date 29th October 2024
About the book

The hate is real. So is the chemistry.

Annie is heading into the holidays alone. And as a confirmed singleton, she decides to open a shop selling the kind of treats every single woman would want to find under the tree. After all, who doesn’t like to get a 'Premium Sensual Lifestyle Product' for Christmas, right?

Penn is in a bind. He needs to come home for Christmas with a girl, or his parents will set him up with someone ‘suitable’. Nothing is too good for the Honourable Peregrine Burton-Edwards after all. But that’s not what Penn wants. He just wants to sell vintage records in his shop and meet a nice, normal girl.

The first time Annie and Penn meet, Annie feels a flutter in her chest – he’s tall, dark and handsome, with cheekbones you could sharpen a blade on. So when he offers to share the shop with her to save on rent, she gladly accepts.

Huge mistake… Annie and Penn are poles apart and butt heads at every turn. But with the holidays looming, Penn will soon need to ask for a big favour, and Annie, with no plans to speak of, is the only girl who can help. As the arguments get more heated, so do the sparks flying between them. Will they put their differences aside and come together? And could it be for more than just Christmas?

A completely addictive, utterly hilarious and totally swoonworthy romantic comedy, Stuck Together will make you fall head over heels for Annie and Penn. The perfect holiday read for fans of Catherine Walsh, Emily Henry and Mhairi McFarlane.

My Review

This is a book I will definitely be recommending this Christmas. It’s absolutely fantastic. The characters are perfect, I really loved them. I read this with a huge grin on my face. It’s pure feel good and makes you laugh so many times throughout. Oh and it’s such an easy read. Fabulous!

Blog Tour - Everyone Has Secrets

Publication date 21st October 2024
About the Book

How well do you really know the people you love the most?

The leafy village of South Langley is the sort of place where someone might kill to live. The Griffiths family has the best home of all – the climbing ivy framing their double bay windows. You can always spot Eve laughing with her husband and their sixteen-year-old-son. And Eve’s best friend Lisa and her teenage daughter Annie live in a charming cottage right across the street. Everything is perfect… Until one night something unthinkable turns the peaceful neighbourhood upside down.

Annie is found on the tiled floor of Eve’s kitchen struggling to breathe. As the blue flashing lights of police cars shatter the quiet streets, everyone is looking at the Griffiths family for answers.

With Annie’s life hanging in the balance, Eve is determined to find out what happened. But as she gets closer to the truth, she begins to question who she can really trust. Because someone is lying to her – is it her best friend, her husband or her son?

After all, we all have secrets. But how many of us would kill to keep them?

An utterly addictive and totally gripping psychological thriller filled secrets and lies from bestselling author A J McDine. Fans of Freida McFadden, Claire McGowan and Lisa Jewell will be glued until the final page!

My Review
What an absolutely incredible book. This had me hooked from that first chapter. I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. The characters are fantastic. Once you pick this up be prepared to be unable to put this down. I found this very easy to read and the pace was good. There is so many twists in this you will be shocked so many times. I can definitely see this book become a best seller.

Blog Tour - His Ex Wife

Publication date 23rd October 2024
About the book
She wants him back. I want her gone.

I’ve never felt welcome in my husband
Dominic’s family home. His parents make it clear I’m a poor comparison to his perfect first wife, Carla. But we’re here for Christmas, so it’s important to pretend everything is fine. Until Dominic’s mother bustles into our bedroom. Smiling thinly, she blindsides me: ‘You won’t mind, will you. Carla is coming for the holidays. She’s still one of the family to us, and she can’t get home because of the storm.’

My eyes widen – did she and Carla plan this on purpose? I know Dominic won’t say a thing. He never stands up to his parents. Apart from marrying me, I guess – with my past, I wasn’t exactly what his family wanted. But then I see the smallest hint of satisfaction cross his face. Did he know about this too?

When Carla arrives, her beautiful smile doesn’t fool me. And with the howling snowstorm promising days of ice-white isolation, we’re stuck here. It’s quickly clear that not only does she want Dominic back, she wants me gone. Forever…

But what neither she nor Dominic know, and his family can never guess, is that I’m far, far tougher than they give me credit for. I’ve survived before.
If I have to, I would kill to survive again…

This tense, twisted and utterly gripping psychological thriller is filled with deadly family secrets hiding in plain sight. Perfect for fans of Daniel Hurst, The Housemaid and Lisa Jewell.

My Review
Just when you think this author can’t get any better BOOM she’s brings out another spectacular psychological thriller and I definitely think this is their best yet.
So the book is based on a newly married couple facing their first married Christmas at the in law’s and already you can sense it’s all going to go wrong. From the minute they arrive at Dominic’s parents house I went into fear mode and I was scared and frightened for Natalie. I dreaded to think what was coming.
With every chapter I grew more and more addicted and absolutely struggled to pull myself away from this book. It’s completely terrifying and gripping.
I will definitely be recommending this book.

Blog Tour - Eden's Comfort Kitchen

Publication date 23rd October 2024
About the Book
Run away to Seaglass Bay where the waves crash against ivory cliffs, the beach is a perfect golden ribbon of sand, and a little cafĂ© is about to change Eden’s life forever…

When Eden turns the key in the red door of Four Winds Cottage, the clifftop house where she used to holiday as a child, she is overwhelmed with bittersweet memories. She lost her mother recently, and she’s hoping Seaglass Bay will heal her broken heart.

The villagers welcome Eden with open arms, but she can’t help but notice that life is tough for them when the holidaymakers go home. Her mother always gave so much to those around her, and Eden is determined to follow in her footsteps. She sets up a community kitchen where her new friends can enjoy a homecooked meal, and as she watches people chatting over delicious stews, she feels sure that her mum would be a little bit proud of her.

But Eden’s happiness doesn’t last long. An unwelcome visitor arrives in Seaglass Bay in the form of handsome, chiselled Cam, who wants to buy the land the kitchen stands on. Eden is determined to save it and challenges Cam to a fortnight working with her so he can see how much would be lost if it closed.

As Cam rolls up his shirtsleeves and whips up his famous roast chicken, sparks fly and Eden feels a sense of triumph – he clearly can’t resist a challenge. The heat rises as they mess around in the kitchen, Cam’s dark hair dishevelled and his blue eyes shining with fun, and she realises that maybe he doesn’t have a heart of stone after all…

But just as she begins to let her guard down, Cam disappears without warning. Has she failed to win over the man she swore she’d never catch feelings for? And can she save the place that’s helped save her?

An emotional feel-good read, packed with heart and hope, that shows you it is never too late to start again. Fans of Shari Low, Jessica Redland and Jo Bartlett will fall in love with Eden's Comfort Kitchen.

My Review
Wow, what an absolutely beautiful heart warming book. Let me tell you from the minute I picked this up I just couldn't tear myself away from it. I really liked the character Eden, after the sadness she's dealt with recently you just want to give her the biggest hug and tell her everything is going to be ok. I was desperate for her to get her happy ever after and find light at the end of the storm.
This is one of the easiest books  I have read, it really is a joy to read.

About the Author
From a young age, Tilly Tennant was convinced that she was destined for the stage.  Once she realised she wasn’t actually very good at anything that would put her on the stage, she started to write stories instead. There were lots of terrible ones, like The Pet Rescue Gang (aged eight), which definitely should not see the light of day ever again. Thankfully, her debut novel, Hopelessly Devoted to Holden Finn was not one of those, and since it hit the Amazon best seller lists she hasn’t looked back. Born in Dorset, she currently lives in Staffordshire with her husband, two daughters, three guitars, four ukuleles, two violins and a kazoo.

Blog Tour - The Village Christmas Party

Publication Date 10th October 2024
About The Book
The smell of mulled wine fills the air as the villagers listen to carollers singing. Everyone in town is ready for the big day. But Lauren only has hours to get the community Christmas party back on track…

Thirty-four-year-old
Lauren has a list for everything, especially Christmas. With her presents bought months in advance, the last thing on her checklist is the charity party she runs every year. It has to be perfect – she has seen how much the event means to the older villagers who would be alone for the holidays otherwise.

Everything is going smoothly as the local church bells ring. Until handsome
Kian walks in, claiming he has the little village hall booked for his young daughter’s birthday party. Lauren nearly falls off the ladder she is using to hang fairy lights. There’s no way this is happening. Not when she’d triple-checked every detail…

As Lauren frantically tries to find another option, Kian’s insistence that she should just “relax” isn’t helping her stay merry and bright. There’s only one way to make this a festive party to remember. She has to try and work with Kian.

They clash over every detail, but as their helpers arrive, Kian’s kind and welcoming nature soothes Lauren’s shaken nerves. And his gorgeous blue eyes make her wish she’d put the mistletoe out. Until Kian mysteriously disappears…

And Lauren is left alone to keep the excitable children from running into the flaming Christmas pudding the older guests love every year. Will Kian’s chilled approach cool the celebrations?
Or can Lauren and Kian put aside their differences and save the day once more?

This completely addictive and gorgeous festive romance is perfect for fans of Cathy Bramley, Tracy Rees and Heidi Swain. You will not be able to put this down once it wraps you up in its warmth and charm!

My Review
As soon as I saw that absolutely stunning cover I knew this was a book for me. Even better it being a Christmas book it got me instantly excited for Christmas and after reading this I had to try not to put my Christmas tree up as I was so tempted. I think this book has to be one of the best Christmas books I have read and it is going to be sitting at the top of the bestseller charts this Christmas for quite some time!

I loved the whole festive feels in this, it is just exciting and really makes you feel good reading this. The characters I absolutely adored!

I did not want this book to end! Such a joy to read!
