The Pumpkin Spice Cafe

Publication date 30th August 2023
About the Book
When Jeanie’s aunt gifts her the beloved Pumpkin Spice CafĂ© in the small town of Dream Harbor, Jeanie jumps at the chance for a fresh start away from her very dull desk job.

Logan is a local farmer who avoids Dream Harbor’s gossip at all costs. But Jeanie’s arrival disrupts Logan’s routine and he wants nothing to do with the irritatingly upbeat new girl, except that he finds himself inexplicably drawn to her.

Will Jeanie’s happy-go-lucky attitude win over the grumpy-but-gorgeous Logan, or has this city girl found the one person in town who won’t fall for her charm, or her pumpkin spice lattes…

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe is a cozy romantic novel with a grumpy x sunshine dynamic, a small-town setting and a HEA guaranteed!

My Review
That stunning cover attracted me to this book as I am fond of a book about cafe's and this book did not disappoint. The story itself is a very easy to read and enjoyable book. There is a bit of a mystery to work out along with spicy romance. The characters I adored! I really felt I had known them forever.
I was gutted once I got to the end of this book as I just needed to know what was next for these characters and I have my fingers crossed we will find out more from them in book two.

Blog Tour - The Couple On The Train

Publication date 23rd August 2024
About the Book
I look at where the woman was sitting. There’s a scrap of paper tucked into the gap between the seats. With shaking hands, I pick it up. The note reads: Help me.

At first glance, the couple on the train look normal. She’s dressed smartly, a floral patterned bag on her lap. But her hands are clenched, her fingers white. The man with her has his arm looped through hers, but not in a comforting way. He’s holding her too tightly.

She catches my eye and I see desperation there. I’m opening my mouth to speak when the train grinds to a halt and the man stands, hauling her away. She looks at me again, then at the seat behind her, her face pale.

I find the message she left behind. Help me.

When I call the police, there’s no sign of the couple on CCTV. The kind detective gently suggests that it’s not surprising, with my history, that I am imagining things. Wanting to save someone.

I know what I saw. If no one will believe me, I’ll find her myself.

But as I search, what I find seems personal. Little things that remind me of what happened ten years ago. And I think I’m being followed, that someone broke into my flat.

The hunt for the woman on the train is leading me somewhere I should never go. Can I save her, or will I be next?

My Review
Wow what a book! I was literally on the edge of my seat reading this. It absolutely blew me away with all the twists. Once I picked this book up I was hooked from the first chapter and struggled to put it down. The story is addictive and gripping and you will want to keep reading until you find out what was going to happen next.
I will definitely be reading more from this author and will be recommending it to everyone.

Blog Tour - My Daughter's Revenge

Publication date 14th August 2024
About the book
My first mistake was raising my daughter to be just like me…

His death is reported on the morning news. The man my daughter’s been dating. Dead. Gone…

I blink slowly – once, twice, three times. The hair on the back of my neck rises as I grip my coffee harder. My breath comes in short bursts.
I didn’t even know he existed until recently. Leah doesn’t tell me anything anymore. But I found the letters she hid. I know she fell head over heels for him. That he broke her heart.
And that he’s dead now.

I wish more than anything that the news is only shocking because of who it is, and what’s happened to him.
But I know my daughter too well for that.
My first mistake was raising my daughter to be just like me.
My second mistake might be what I do to protect her…

An absolutely gripping suspense thriller that will have your heart pounding. Perfect for fans of addictive page-turners like The Housemaid, The Family Across the Street and The Family Upstairs.

My Review
This book is phenomenal. I literally was unable to put it down, honestly it is absolutely fantastic. You will be completely gripped when reading this. There are so many twists, I loved them all and was in shock as I did not see them coming. This is a book I will be recommending to everyone as everyone NEEDS to read this!

Blog Tour - The Assistant

About the Book
She knows everything about you… but can you trust her?

I walk in to my interview with
Ava Green and carefully hand over my application. It’s all made up, of course, but Ava doesn’t have to know that.

There is so much worry in her blue eyes. Her phone pings with constant messages and a small stain marks her crisp shirt. Breakfast with her two little girls before heading out to this high-flying job every morning can’t be easy.

Ava needs me, I think. More than anything.

The interview goes perfectly, because I have made myself into the perfect assistant. Now I just hope Ava never finds out why I’m really here. Not before she lets me into her home, and I meet her charming husband, and get to babysit her children.

Because I have plans for Ava.
She just has to trust me…

A completely addictive psychological thriller that will have you gasping at the final twist. Fans of Shari Lapena, Lisa Jewell and The Perfect Marriage will be reading late into the night.

My Review
What a book!
From that very first chapter I was hooked. It is fast paced and extremely gripping. There is so many twists that you won’t see coming which will keep you surprised. Along with plenty of fear, you will be so sacred for Ava and worry what the assistant has planned for her.
I literally couldn’t put this down, I needed to find out more and who the assistant really was and what her plans where for Ava.
The ending… my goodness.
I would definitely recommend this book it has everything you look for in a psychological thriller.

Blog Tour - Homewrecker

Publication date 8th August 2024
About the book
She’s here to help my daughter. She wants to steal my life.

I have a gorgeous husband, Scott, two lovely children, a successful career and a stylish townhouse. Anyone would think my life is perfect. But it’s all a lie.

My twelve-year-old Katie has been in trouble at school and won’t talk to me. Desperate, we hire young, willowy brunette Deanna – an expert tutor – to help my daughter. I’ve been so worried and my husband blames me. Have I failed as a mother?

Deanna is our last hope, the only person who seems able to help my precious child. But I’m starting to wonder about her intentions…

She’s in my kitchen, touching Scott’s arm. She and Katie seem to be keeping secrets, laughing as they glance at me. And I see her in my bedroom, watching from the window as I leave for work.

Then I find Deanna in Scott’s study, examining an old, framed photograph. And she begins to ask questions about Scott’s beautiful ex-wife.

I know her game; she’s looking for something that will destroy my life. The life she wants for herself.

But Deanna has underestimated me. I won’t give up my perfect family without a fight, and she has no idea how far I’ll go to stop her…
My Review

Blog Tour - The Married Couple

Publication date 6th August 2024
About the book
My wife is dead. No one believes that I’m innocent – and honestly, if I were them, I wouldn’t either. Everything you ever read, anything that makes the news? It’s always the husband.

Beautiful, bright-eyed
Michelle Jackson, a loving wife and mother, has been killed. Her husband Paul is accused of murdering her. Their little girl Emily, numb with grief, is refusing to speak. You’ll hate Paul for what he’s done.

Everyone said they were the perfect couple, always holding hands. They did everything together. But when you hear about their whispered arguments and the terrible lies they both told, you’ll be certain Paul is guilty.

But everything you think you know is wrong. After all, behind closed doors every marriage has secrets. And some are deadlier than others…

My Review
Recently I've read a lot from this author as they are the master of psychological thrillers. So when I saw this you've no idea how excited I was to delve in.

Now I have to say in my opinion this is the authors best book yet! It is absolutely outstanding. The amount of twists especially towards the end of the book.. my god I couldn't believe it. The storyline definitely opens your eyes and makes you aware of how things aren't as they seem. Honestly that ending is fantastic. This will definitely be heading straight to the top of the bestsellers list.
