Publication date 30th November 2017
About the book
You are cordially invited to the party of the season where you'll meet Constance and friends in action.

Constance Jeffries is excited when she gets the chance to meet up with virtual friends at a get-together in a London hotel. She’s been tweeting and messaging her lovely friends for years and feels they must be just as excited to finally meet her in person too. Or so she hopes.

The Big Event is first part in a short story series about the importance of ‘real’ friendships and how it’s the little things that matter the most.

My Review
The Big Event is a fun exciting short story that is sure to get you in the party mood this festive season!

I really loved how it was fresh and very modern.

The Big Event is hilariously good, with lots of laugh out loud moments.

I  liked the characters in this book, I just want to get to know them a bit more, but this is the first book in the series so there is more to come so I hope we will find out more about them.

I am so excited for the next book in the series - hopefully we don't have to wait too long!

Blog Tour - Meet Me Under The Mistletoe

Absolutely thrilled to hosting todays stop on the Blog Tour for 'Meet Me Under The Mistletoe' by Carla Burgess. Along with my review I am so excited to be able to share with you all an extract from the book!
Publication date 27th October 2017
About the book
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the little flower shop. . .
Florist Rachel Jones might spend every day making beautiful bridal bouquets at her little flower shop, but her own love life is wilting as quickly as a bunch of dead roses.
Luckily, the arrival of handsome detective Anthony Bascombe, the new tenant upstairs is the perfect distraction! Although there’s a catch, Anthony isn’t looking for love – he’s looking for her ex-fiancé, Patrick…
But as the snow begins to fall and her little shop fills with mistletoe ready for Christmas, will Rachel manage to melt Anthony’s heart?

My Review
As soon as I seen the cover for Meet Me Under the Mistletoe I was so excited to read it. The cover is just like a winter wonderland! It is just so beautiful!

I loved the two main characters in the book, Rachel & Anthony.  You could tell from so early on in the book that they where perfect for each other.  Their relationship was fast paced and very exciting! However the bombshell that Anthony drops a few chapters in my heart just sank! I felt every emotion that Rachel was feeling, and my heart just went out to her.

Rachel's parents where just hilarious and you really warm to them, they are such kind people, always looking out for everyone - just like Rachel.

The descriptions in the book where fabulous, the flowers etc I could just imagine what they all looked like! I loved imagining them and the wedding venue's.

The ending of the book was just perfect! I had a little tear in my eye!

This has got to been one of my favourite festive reads! It is heart warming and really makes you feel good when you read it! A real joy to read this Christmas!

Meet Me Under The Mistletoe Extract
Chapter One

Anthony Bascombe walked into my life one Thursday afternoon in the middle of November. The bell above the door tinkled violently and a gust of wind accompanied him into the shop, making the flowers quiver in their buckets and the fairy lights shiver on the shelves. The shifting air carried the scent of his aftershave as it lifted my hair from my shoulders, and I had to place a hand on the sheets of wrapping paper on the counter to stop them flying away.

‘Sorry!’ he said, shutting the door behind him quickly. ‘It’s a bit blustery out there.’

‘It’s okay.’ I laughed and tried to ignore the fizz of attraction that surged through my veins as he smiled across at me. All kinds of customers came into my flower shop, including plenty of attractive men buying gifts for their loved ones, but it wasn’t often that they were dressed so well or had such lovely, twinkly blue eyes. He wore a beautifully cut navy suit and his short, dark-blond hair was styled into a neat little quiff at the front. Self-consciously, I smoothed down my flowery tea dress and tried to remember if I’d applied my winged eyeliner straight this morning. ‘How can I help you? Are you looking for anything in particular?’

‘I’m looking for you, actually,’ he said, still smiling as he walked towards me. ‘If you’re Rachel Jones, that is?’

‘Oh! Yes, that’s me. What can I do for you?’ I cleared my throat, mortified that my voice had gone all squeaky when his was so pleasantly deep.

‘I just came in to introduce myself. My name’s Anthony Bascombe.’ He extended a hand to shake. ‘I’m the new tenant in the apartment upstairs. I believe your parents are my new landlords.’

‘Oh!’ I gazed at him wide-eyed, delighted that I was going to be seeing him around a lot. He had such a lovely warm smile; it lit up his whole face. I couldn’t take my eyes off him. ‘Of course! You moved in on Sunday, didn’t you? I was wondering when we’d get to meet. Have you settled in okay? Is everything to your liking?’

‘Yes, everything’s perfectly fine, thank you. The apartment’s lovely.’

‘It is, isn’t it?’ I said, eager to keep him talking. ‘We had it renovated recently so it’s all fresh and new. I’m quite jealous you’re living there, actually. I felt like moving in myself.’

Raising his eyebrows slightly, he looked at me with interest. ‘Why didn’t you then?’

‘I have my own house already. It’s only a ten-minute walk down the road and over the river. Close enough.’ Realising I was on the verge of giving him my home address and inviting him round for tea, I shut up and then noticed my fingers were still wrapped around his big, warm hand. Trying to pretend it
was normal to hold a handshake for this long, I let go and tucked my hands into the pockets of my cardigan instead. To his credit, Anthony pretended not to notice and turned his attention to the shop.

‘It’s lovely in here. I love the whole vintage vibe.’ He turned around slowly, taking in the shelves of flowers, the display of scented candles on the shabby-chic Welsh dresser in the corner and the floral birdcages hung at different levels from the ceiling. ‘I like the fact you haven’t got any Christmas decorations up yet.’

‘Oh, they’ll be going up this weekend, don’t worry.’

He glanced back over his shoulder and raised an eyebrow. ‘Still too early.’

I laughed. ‘That’s the way it is in retail, I’m afraid. Some shops put them up as soon as Halloween’s out of the way.’

‘I know,’ he said, grudgingly. ‘So, why’s this shop called The Birdcage, then? You’re not trapped here, I take it?’

‘No, it was my Mum’s shop. Her name’s Birdie. I take it you haven’t met her yet. She’s on holiday with her sister at the moment. Dad won’t fly.’

‘Yes, I’ve only met your dad. Nice man.’ He turned back to face me and smiled. ‘Well, if you’re not trapped here, perhaps you’d like to take pity on the new boy in town and come out to dinner with me?’

‘I’m sorry?’ I blinked in surprise, thinking I’d misheard him.

He smiled. ‘No pressure or anything. I just can’t stand the thought of spending another night sitting in the flat sorting out boxes and I’d quite like to see a bit of Chester. That’s unless you already have plans, and only if your boyfriend wouldn’t object, of course?’

‘Oh! No, not at all. What time is it now?’

He looked at his watch. ‘Half past five. What time do you close?’

‘Half past five.’ I smiled, suddenly excited. This was a vast improvement on my original plans for the evening, which involved a microwave meal for one in front of Emmerdale and a bubble bath. ‘Let me bring the flowers in from outside and then I can lock up.’

‘Oh here, I’ll help you,’ he said, following me out of the shop to where more buckets of flowers stood just outside the door.

‘You don’t have to. It’ll only take a minute,’ I said, bending to lift a container of roses.

‘No, here, pass it to me.’ He held the door open with his back and took the container out of my hands. ‘Do I just put them in front of this shelf?’

‘Yes, please. That’s perfect,’ I said, passing him another container. There were only half a dozen or so containers of flowers out today. It had been too windy and cold to risk more. Leaves scuttled along the pavement and my skirt flapped around my legs, lifting and billowing ominously as I passed Anthony the
last container. I clamped it down with my hand, pink with embarrassment, but Anthony either didn’t or pretended not to see to spare my blushes. ‘Thank you,’ I said, as he stood back to let me through the door. I caught another waft of his aftershave and resisted the urge to sniff him all over like my parents’ spaniel. ‘I’ll just lock the back door and get my coat,’ I said, breathlessly, walking through the archway into the back of the shop where we created the flower arrangements. I’d intended to clear the stalks and leaves from the large wooden table before I left tonight, but it could wait until the morning. Locking the door, I set the alarm and grabbed my blue pea coat from the peg. Anthony turned the sign to closed as I dashed round switching off fairy lights and blowing out candles, and then held the door open for me when we were ready to go. I was seriously impressed by his manners. I wasn’t used to such gentlemanly behaviour.

Book Birthday Blitz - Christmas at the Little Knitting Box

Very excited to be part of the Birthday Book Blitz for this fabulous Christmas book 'Christmas at the Little Knitting Box' by Helen J Rolfe.  Today there is a very exciting giveaway too! Also I have some information on Helen's new release! Part 2 of this series!

About the book
Christmas is coming and New York is in full swing for the snowy season. But at The Little Knitting Box in the West Village, things are about to change …

The Little Knitting Box has been in Cleo’s family for nearly four decades, and since she arrived fresh off the plane from the Cotswolds four years ago, Cleo has been doing a stellar job of running the store. But instead of an early Christmas card in the mail this year, she gets a letter that tips her world on its axis.

Dylan has had a tumultuous few years. His marriage broke down, his mother passed away and he’s been trying to pick up the pieces as a stay-at-home dad. All he wants this Christmas is to give his kids the home and stability they need. But when he meets Cleo at a party one night, he begins to see it’s not always so easy to move on and pick up the pieces, especially when his ex seems determined to win him back.

When the snow starts to fall in New York City, both Cleo and Dylan realise life is rarely so black and white and both of them have choices to make. Will Dylan follow his heart or his head? And will Cleo ever allow herself to be a part of another family when her own fell apart at the seams?
Full of snow, love and the true meaning of Christmas, this novel will have you hooked until the final page.

My Review
After seeing the beautiful  cover of this I knew this was a book I needed to read this Christmas.

Clio is the main character and she runs the Little Knitting Box, its been in her family for nearly 40years so she is so passionate and has a real love for the store.

With christmas approaching Clio is taken back to receive a letter in the post which turns her world upside down and puts her under a load of stress.

On the brighter side Clio goes to a party and meets Dylan, they instantly click and fall for each other so quickly.  With both of them carrying a ton of baggage between them it takes them a while to get together.

This was really different to the normal books I read, I have never read about a knitting shop, so this really opened my eyes to the knitting world and really inspired me.  It was really fresh and exciting!

Christmas at the Little Knitting Box is the perfect festive romance. I loved every page of it and it kept me completely gripped to the end.  I Loved this!

Cover Reveal - The Little Wedding Island

Very excited today to be part of the cover reveal for 'The Little Wedding Island' by Jaimie Admans.  I am just in love with this cover it is so so beautiful.  So here it is...
Publication date 2nd March 2018

About the book
Blurb: Bonnie Haskett loves love. She’s a hopeless romantic who’s always daydreaming of the day she’ll finally get married and live happily ever after. She hasn’t found Mr Right yet, but she’s sure he’s out there somewhere… For now, she consoles herself by writing about beautiful weddings for a bridal magazine, watching brides and grooms so hopelessly in love that it’s enough to melt even the harshest cynic’s heart.

Rohan Carter is love’s harshest cynic and nothing about a wedding will melt his heart, thank you very much. He writes a monthly column for a men’s magazine in which he advises men never to get married and gives advice on how to protect themselves from love.

These two rival journalists find themselves stuck together on Edelweiss Island, an island off the south coast of Britain that has become known as ‘the little wedding island’. There’s a rumour that no marriage performed in the church there has ever ended in divorce, and Bonnie and Rohan are both sent to investigate it.

However, they quickly find the locals are unwelcoming and untalkative, and no one is going to tell them anything about this ‘church of no divorces’ if they aren’t there to get married in it. There’s only one thing for it – team up and pretend to be engaged to each other to gain access to the church and find out what’s really going on there. They might not be friends, but their only chance to get the inside scoop on the mysterious island that everyone’s talking about is each other. It would be a win for both of them and all it would take is one little white lie. Just one...
A gorgeously uplifting romantic comedy!
(Please note this is the unofficial blurb)

The high point of Lily’s work life is Christos Cyriakos, ex-cop, security guard, possible Greek god. He's a mystery box she’d love to unwrap. But can she trust him?  All Lily wants for Christmas is to kiss Christos (and more), catch a band of thieves running amok in the store, and live happily ever after. Is that too much to wish for?

Winter at The Cosy Cottage Cafe

Publication date 20th November 2017

About the book
Camilla Dix is fiercely independent. Growing up, she had to be strong for her mother and younger sister after her father left them for a new life in Benidorm. Camilla has kept her heart firmly closed to love, and never allows her relationships with men to develop into anything serious.

Tom Stone moved to Heatherlea for a fresh start. He’s been hurt in the past and has no intention of making himself vulnerable again. The only company he wants at night is that of his rescue British Bulldog Hairy Pawter.

However, when Camilla and Tom meet, they can’t deny their mutual attraction, and something deeper soon develops between them.

As snows falls over Heatherlea, mulled wine flows and festive carols fill the air, but can Camilla and Tom put their fears aside and trust each other enough to let love in?

My Review
I am a HUGE fan of 'The Cosy Cottage Cafe' series, so I was thrilled to read this new book.  Oh my it was just as perfect as the previous two books.  From that very first page the familiarity just hits and we pick up just where we left off, its like we haven't been away!

This time the focus is on Camilla, the sister of Dawn.  She is a brilliant character, one that made me laugh so many times. Camilla is a really strong independent woman.

Camilla and the new vet Tom clearly have chemistry together and they seem so perfect for each other and I just couldn't wait for them to get together. Though they face quite a lot of drama's together so I couldn't predict whether they would end up together or not.

I loved the humour in this book, it was absolutely fantastic and had me laughing my head off. I couldn't believe some of the things I was reading it was hilarious!

I actually had tears in my eyes reading the end of the book, it was truly beautiful.

The Cosy Cottage Cafe really does capture a place in your heart and you will find you get attached to it and feel so sad when each book ends.  I am so excited for the next one!

Christmas at Hope Cottage

Publication date 18th October 2017

About the book
In the little village of Whistling, with its butterscotch cottages and rolling green hills, snow is beginning to fall. Christmas is coming, and Emma Halloway is on her way home.

When twenty-eight-year-old food writer Emma Halloway gets dumped then knocked off her bike, she’s broken in more ways than one, and returns to her family’s cosy cottage in the Yorkshire Dales. Emma hasn’t been back in some time, running from her crazy relatives and her childhoodsweetheart, Jack Allen.

Emma’s grandmother is determined to bake her back to health and happiness, as the Halloways have done for generations. Surrounded by old friends and warm cinnamon buns, Emma starts to believe in her family’s special talents for healing again. But then in walks Jack with his sparkling hazel eyes, stirring up the family feud between them.

As the twinkly lights are strung between the streetlamps, Emma remembers just why she fell for Jack in the first place... and why a Halloway should never date an Allen.

The infuriating new lodger, Sandro, doesn’t believe anyone should have to choose between love and family. With a little bit of Christmas magic, can Emma and Jack find a way to be together, or will Emma find herself heartbroken once more?

My Review
Having read previous books by Lily Graham I knew when I seen this book that I had to read it. There is just something so magical about her books. So delving into Christmas at Hope Cottage was a real treat.

The character Emma really captured my heart, from she was little she has had to deal with a lot. We really see her go through a journey of beginning her life again as she recovers from a horrible accident and get over her latest relationship break up.

I loved how the book has parts that go back into Emma's childhood where we find out about her crush on Jack and the problems she faced for doing so and the present day side of the book where we see Emma and Jack have the freedom to hang out together without people pulling them apart.

The romantic storyline in the book was really lovely, and I was so happy with the outcome and thought it was the perfect match for Emma.

I think Christmas at Hope Cottage is like a festive fairytale.

A Winter's Wish Come True

Today I am so so excited to be part of this fabulous Blog Tour for 'A Winter's Wish Come True' by Lynsey James.  Keep reading to hear about the book, author, my review and a wonderful giveaway where you can win 1 of 3 ebook copies of the book!
Publication date 22nd November 2017
About the book
Being pregnant with her ex-boyfriend’s baby is the last thing on Cleo Jones’s Christmas wish list. Scott might have been the man of her dreams once upon a time, but things change and now Cleo faces a future as a single mum… Or does she? Scott won’t let Cleo go through this alone; whatever their differences he’s vowed to be there, from antenatal classes to night feeds and nappy changing. The two agree to bring up their baby as friends – but as Cleo’s bump grows, so do their feelings for each other. Cleo can’t be sure if it’s her heart of her hormones urging her to give Scott a second chance – but getting back together could be the best Christmas present of all!

My Review
I love the character Cleo, so I was extremely thrilled to see her return in this book.  From the last book things have moved on a good while and a lot has gone on.  Unfortunely Cleo and Scott are not together anymore and thats just so devestating because they are just destined to be together.  Thoughout the book I just wanted to bang their heads together and make them see that they are so in love with each other and get back together, they are just the perfect couple and I hated them not being together.

Parts of the book are incredibly emotional and I had tears in my eyes so many times.  You definitely need to keep the tissues handy.

Also about halfway through the book my heart was in my mouth, I was so nervous for Cleo, I just didn't know what was going to happen.

Another thing I really loved was the 'Friends Tv Show' references, I laughed at all these bits and they really brought fun to the book.

I really think by the end of the book we see Cleo a changed woman, definitely a lot stronger and more happier and confident in herself and her life.

A Winter's Wish Come True really is a beautifully heartwarming read and I must say it has become one of my favourite reads.  From start to finish every page was just so lovely and I enjoyed everything about it.

About the Author
Lynsey James was born in Fife in 1991 and has been telling people how to spell her name ever since. She's an incurable bookworm who loves nothing more than getting lost in a good story with memorable characters. She started writing when she was really young and credits her lovely Grandad- and possibly a bump on the head from a Mr Frosty machine- with her love of telling stories. She used to write her own episodes of Friends and act them out in front of her family (in fact she's sure she put Ross and Rachel together first!) A careers adviser at school once told Lynsey writing wasn’t a “good option” and for a few years, she believed her. She tried a little bit of everything, including make-up artistry, teaching and doing admin for a chocolate fountain company. The free chocolate was brilliant. When Lynsey left my job a couple of years ago, she started writing full-time while she looked for another one. As soon as she started working on her story, Lynsey fell in love and decided to finally pursue her dream. She haven’t looked back since. When Lynsey's not writing, eating cake or drinking tea, she's daydreaming about the day Dylan O’Brien FINALLY realises they're meant to be together. It’ll happen one day…

About the book
Come home for Christmas to the Best Little Christmas Shop – the snowiest, cosiest place you can be!

My Review
That wonderful winter cover really makes you want to pick up this book and read it.  As soon as I seen it I knew I would love it.  From the very first chapter I found the book so warm and easy to read.  Each page was just delightful.
I loved the story between Lexi and Cal, I was just willing them to get together. The perfect story, characters and location!  A great festive read!

About the Author
Maxine has wanted to be a writer for as long as she can remember and wrote her first (very short) book for school when she was ten. Coming in first, she won a handful of book tokens - perfect for a bookworm! As years went by, she continued to write, but 'normal' work often got in the way. She has written articles on a variety of subjects, aswell as a book on Brighton for a Local History publisher. However, novels are what she loves writing the most. After self publishing her first novel when a contract fell through, thanks to the recession, she continued to look for opportunities. In August 2015, she won Harper Collins/Carina UK's 'Write Christmas' competition with her romantic comedy, 'Winter's Fairytale'. Maxine lives on the south coast of England, and when not wrangling with words loves to read sew and listen to podcasts. As she also likes cake she can also be found either walking or doing something vaguely physical at the gym.

My Q&A with Maxine Morrey

1. Can you tell us a wee bit about yourself?
Of course, and thanks for having me on the blog today. I’m Maxine, and I live on the south coast of England, not too far from the city of Brighton. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, on and off, depending on what life was choosing to throw around at the time. In 2015, I won the ‘Write Christmas’ competition being run by what was then Carina, with the book that would become ‘Winter’s Fairytale’. Last year I followed that up with ‘The Christmas Project’ which I was thrilled to see really taking off, getting to number 11 on the overall Kindle chart. This year I have two Christmas books out – The Christmas Holiday, and the The Best Little ChristmasShop.

When I’m not writing, I love to read, listen to podcasts, and am getting back into sewing a little more which I find very therapeutic. I also quite like cake so tend to have to factor some sort of exercise in too.

2. What inspires you when writing a new book?

Honestly, anything can inspire you. The Christmas Project came about purely because I had been attempting to declutter my own house for ages and had just begun when family illness switched my focus. I knew how keen I was to try and get my house done (fyi, it’s still not done! 😉) but I began to wonder what would happen if someone was forced into having to do it and how that would affect both the house owner, as well as the professional brought in to do the job…

3. Wheres your favourite place to read?

On holiday! Ha ha! Unfortunately I wouldn’t get a whole lot of reading done if I limited it to that though so, in lieu of travels, I tend to settle for being snuggled up on the sofa under a Liberty quilt I made previously which is super cosy.

4. What's your favourite way to spend christmas?

Just quietly really. Unlike Lexi in The Best Little Christmas Shop, I don’t have a large family – we’re all rather displaced around the world so to me, it’s lovely just to be able to get up when you feel like it, have no schedule or must do’s, and just relax doing whatever you want, whenever you want.

5. Finally whats been your favourite book this year?

Gosh, that’s a hard one – I’ve read quite a few I’ve really loved and have a tonne more to read in the pile (both physical and digital!) Am I allowed two? For festive treats, it would have to be Sarah Morgan’s ‘Moonlight Over
Manhattan’ – Harriet is probably my favourite heroine from this series so far. In the non-Christmas category, I think it will have to be ‘The Many Colours of Us’ by Rachel Burton. It’s a beautifully written debut novel and was so atmospheric and encompassing.

About the book

Curl up by the fire this Christmas with the ebook bestseller Catherine Ferguson.

When Poppy’s boyfriend Harrison proposes the week before Christmas and gives her twelve days to decide, she doesn’t know what to do. With the festive season in full swing, it’s make or break time for the couple and the clock is ticking…
Meanwhile, Poppy’s best friend Erin is desperate for the pair of them to fulfil their dream of setting up a dinner party catering company – and when an opportunity arises at a luxury log fire cabin, the girls take their chance to impress. But they hadn’t bargained on the owner of the cabin being quite so attractive – or having quite such a sexy voice.
As the twelve days tick on, will Poppy realise that Harrison is the one for her? Or will it be love in the lodge when the new year comes?
Lose yourself this Christmas in the new novel from the brilliant Catherine Ferguson, perfect for cosying up with by the fire.
My Review
By looking at the cover for this book you just know it is going to be a real cosy winter read.  It is just so inviting and really makes you want to pick the book up and read it and that is exactly what I did!

I just adored this book, the character Poppy was really easy to connect with and I really enjoyed her story.  She has a lot going on, and we see her face tough decisions, you just really want it all to work out for her.  Its clear from the start of the book that she is a talented cook so when she gets the chance to fulfill her dream you just feel so happy for her.

Its so lovely to see a wonderful friendship in a book, Poppy and Erin are so close and support each other every step of the way, and I really liked how Erin is steps in and helps Poppy with the Catering.

Poppy's relationship with Harrison is hard to judge at the start, you feel like something is not quite right with him then he proposes and its all happiness.  Then he goes to his mother's for christmas and everytime Poppy rings him he doesn't seem to want to know or care really, even when big things happen that Poppy wants to share with him and when she needs his support he doesn't give her any.

I loved seeing Poppy's relationship bloom with her mother and how close they become. It really put a smile on my face.

The menu's that Poppy had prepared for each day, well they made my mouth water, they just sounded absolutely delicious!

This book is incredibly festive and romantic, and really gets you excited for christmas.

Cover Reveal - The Wildflowers

Absolutely thrilled to be involved in this fantastic cover reveal today for 'The Wildflowers' by 'Harriet Evans'.

So here it is...

Publication date 22nd February 2018

About the book
Tony and Althea Wilde. Glamorous, argumentative ... adulterous to the core.
They were my parents, actors known by everyone. They gave our lives love and colour in a house by the sea - the house that sheltered my orphaned father when he was a boy.
But the summer Mads arrived changed everything. She too had been abandoned and my father understood why. We Wildflowers took her in.
My father was my hero, he gave us a golden childhood, but the past was always going to catch up with him ... it comes for us all, sooner or later.
This is my story. I am Cordelia Wilde. A singer without a voice. A daughter without a father. Let me take you inside.

Three women – all with secrets. And as the days tick down to Michael's release, those secrets can no longer be ignored.

My Review
I love going out of my comfort zone of 'Women's Fiction' books and delving into the great 'Mystery/Thriller' type of books. So when I seen this book I knew it was one that I just had to read! Let me tell you this did not let me down it was amazing!
From the very first chapters where we are introduced to the three main characters I was gripped! I did not want to put the book down, I just had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen.
Each of the characters had their own story going on and I had so many ideas of what was going to happen but let me tell you I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!! No matter how many ideas you come up with of whats going to happen you would never guess it and that is what made me enjoy this book so much.
After finishing the book I just thought WOW and that is what its all about reading this type of book, something happening that you don't see coming.  Endings like that really stay with you and it makes these books memorable.
The suspense throughout, oh my heart was pounding! I was on the edge of my seat, I couldn't sit still!
Honestly you really have to read this book, I have told so many people about it myself absolutely brilliant! Bravo Karen!

Blog Tour - The Cosy Christmas Chocolate Shop

Publication date 2nd November 2017

About the book
The snow is falling, the hot chocolate’s warming, and hearts are melting . . .
Emma is the proud owner of The Chocolate Shop by the Sea, nestled in the heart of the cosy seaside village that’s become her home. With Christmas right around the corner, she and her assistant Holly are busy cooking up the locals’ festive favourites.
From cinnamon hot chocolates to reindeer lollipops, Christmas wouldn’t taste the same without a little cocoa magic. And for Emma it’s the perfect distraction from her romantic pains of the past. So when the shop’s miserly landlord threatens to hike up the rent, Emma’s Christmas and New Year suddenly look a lot less cheerful.
With the whole village rallying behind her – and loyal spaniel Alfie by her side – Emma’s determined to hold onto her chocolate-box dream.
The chocolate calendar countdown is on. Can Emma rescue her business and her broken heart?

My Review
This book has Everything you want in a Christmas book and you know what I absolutely loved every single page of it! I really do believe this is one of the best Christmas books!

Emma is a brilliant character, she's been through a lot and has tried to move on with her life.  The chocolate shop takes up a lot of her time if she isn't busy making chocolates shes out serving her loyal customers.

The chocolate shop was the perfect shop for this book (you often associate chocolate with love and romance right?). The chocolate's Emma made really made my mouth water, I really wanted to try them they sound so delicious! I just want her to make me a large gift box of chocolates up!

The love story in this book is just truly beautiful, at times I could cry it was so emotional and other times I just was screaming at Emma ''What are you doing!!'' but you will find you are reading this book with a huge grin on your face as you just want Emma to be happy.

There is so many magnificent descriptions in this book and so many little details which makes it so easy to imagine and it really makes you feel like you know the characters, shop, the town etc.

This is the perfect christmas book to curl up with in front of the fire on these cold winter nights.. but make sure you have some chocolate beside you as you will crave it so bad!
