Losing My Inhibitions is a laugh-out-loud, racy, romantic comedy with a modern twist. This story is about self-love, new beginnings, forging your own path in life and being true to yourself. It can be read as a standalone novel or as a prequel to The Middle-Aged Virgin and Only When It’s Love

Ideal for fans of Sophie Kinsella, Marian Keyes and Lindsey Kelk.

My Review
This is another truly spectacular novel from Olivia Spring. It is packed full of drama and absolutely hilarious moments. I loved the main character Roxy - I thought she was a brilliant character.. she reminds me a bit of Bridget Jones. So many similarities between them. After the horrible time with her ex I just wanted Mr Right to come into her life and for Roxy to get her happy ever after. This book will keep you gripped, it is fun and exciting. Love love loved this!!

Blog Tour- Why Mummy Doesn’t Give A ...

Publication date 27th June 2019
About the book
I’m wondering how many more f*cking ‘phases’ I have to endure before my children become civilised and functioning members of society? It seems like people have been telling me ‘it’s just a phase!’ for the last fifteen bloody years. Not sleeping through the night is ‘just a phase.’ Potty training and the associated accidents ‘is just a phase’. The tantrums of the terrible twos are ‘just a phase’. The picky eating, the back chat, the obsessions. The toddler refusals to nap, the teenage inability to leave their beds before 1pm without a rocket being put up their arse. The endless singing of Frozen songs, the dabbing, the weeks where apparently making them wear pants was akin to child torture. All ‘just phases!’ When do the ‘phases’ end though? WHEN?

Mummy dreams of a quirky rural cottage with roses around the door and chatty chickens in the garden. Life, as ever, is not going quite as she planned. Paxo, Oxo and Bisto turn out to be highly rambunctious, rather than merely chatty, and the roses have jaggy thorns. Her precious moppets are now giant teenagers, and instead of wittering at her about who would win in a fight – a dragon badger or a ninja horse – they are Snapchatting the night away, stropping around the tiny cottage and communicating mainly in grunts – except when they are demanding Ellen provides taxi services in the small hours. And there is never, but never, any milk in the house. At least the one thing they can all agree on is that rescued Barry the Wolfdog may indeed be The Ugliest Dog in the World, but he is also the loveliest.

My Review
I am a huge fan of this series as I am a mum I can totally relate to so much going on in this book. I felt like I was right with the mummy through the story. There are so many laugh out loud moments and the whole story is just great fun. I love the way the author has written this book it is perfect and really keeps your attention. I really didn’t want this to end but I cannot wait for the next book by this author because I just know it will be fantastic.  One of the easiest books to read..amazing!

Blog Tour - Almost Adults

Publication date 24th June 2019

About the book
The struggle is real but at least they're all in it together.
Ever managed to kill a succulent after just a few days?
Got seven reminder letters on the kitchen table because you forgot to pay your council tax?
Become a hot mess who’s falling apart because they’ve been broken up with?
Mackie, Edele, Alex and Nat are navigating their chaotic and confusing twenties together. They have jobs and pay their own rent (well, most of them) but don't know how to bleed radiators, defrost a freezer or test the smoke alarms.
With break-ups to deal with and major decisions to make, life can get messy especially when they're still trying to get the hang of this 'being a grown-up' thing.
Welcome to the joys of being almost adults.

My Review

Blog Tour - Somewhere Close to Happy

Publication date 13th June 2019
About the book
Lizzie James is happy.
She has a steady office job (with a steady stream of snacks), has had the same best friend since school, and she sees her family every Thursday night for take-away and trashy TV. Lizzie likes her uncomplicated life.
Then a letter arrives one day from her first love, Roman. A letter dated the day he disappeared, 12 years before. As Lizzie uncovers the secrets of the letter, she discovers what really happened the year her life fell apart - and all avenues lead back to Roman.
Lizzie James thought she was happy, or somewhere close to happy, anyway.
Now she's not so sure.
My Review
This is an incredibly touching emotional read that will keep you reading until you’ve read that very last page. The storyline has been written in a brilliant way where we meet the character in the present day then we get to flick back and forth to when she was younger and see how things have become how they are. I was excited to find out what really happened and if Lizzie would finally get the answers she never found. This book had me gripped.
